Community Outreach at All Saints’
When you see our outreach activities at All Saints’ what we hope becomes apparent is our attempt to share our good fortune locally, nationally and globally. You may also notice that our outreach includes both volunteer-supported programs as well as monetary donations. We seek a healthy balance of both.
All Saints’ Church is enveloped by a geographical portion of Philadelphia which includes both poverty and affluence. The needs of the impoverished go without saying and there are more hands held out than we can touch. Consequently we have to choose carefully, based on our resources, how we can help.
The majority of our efforts are guided towards a goal of implementing programs to help others. Examples include:
- St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church “Lunch with Our Neighbors” Program.
- In rotation with other organizations to provide hot meals to 75 – 100 members of the St. Gabriel’s community who face food insecurities.

- The Somerton Interfaith Food Bank
- Creating donation campaigns to collect food items.

- The Breathing Room

- Caring For Friends

- All Saints’ Food Pantry
- Located in our drive-up circle, this outdoor pantry is continuously re-filled with community donations of non-perishable food items that are available to anyone stopping by. We encourage all to “give what you can – take what you need.”
